Micro-Conversion Services
We specialize in retrofretting services and have 10+ years of experience with most name brand guitars. The process of a microtonal conversion involves the removal of your old guitar's fretboard, and replacement with a new board and fret system of your choice. This can be an Equal Temperament/ED2, Just Intonation fretting, or a Non-Octave fretting.
Sometimes customers will buy a new or used guitar online and have it shipped directly to us to save on initial shipping costs.
Contact us about this and we can give you an address and work out a time frame. Currently, micro-conversions take around 4-6 months.
If you have a question about about a tuning or whether a guitar is a good candidate for a microtonal conversion send us an email at Metatonalmusic@gmail.com and we'll get back to you.
Below is a gallery of some of the guitars we have converted over the years.
